The Ultimate Sizing Guide
Not sure what sizes to order for your booth? Here is what successful table vendors stock. ‡
4"x6" & 5"x7"
Extremely popular sizes for affordable bundle deals (e.g. 3 for $10). Mini prints are giftable, highly collectable, and don't require the customer to carry a large poster tube, increasing conversion rates fast.
8.5"x11" & 8"x10"
The classic letter-size bracket. These feel much more substantial than mini prints but remain highly affordable. 8x10 is especially popular because it fits readily available, cheap frames.
11"x17"
The undisputed industry standard poster size for Anime and Comic conventions. Fits perfectly in standard vendor display portfolios and commands a higher price point while still being manageable.
12"x18"
For your absolute best artwork that demands attention. Hang these high on your wire grids as anchor pieces to draw attendees in from across the hall. Standard commercial 12x18 size allows for flawless bleed edges.

What paper stock is best for standard convention prints?
For standard 11" x 17" or 8.5" x 11" prints, we highly recommend 100lb or 130lb Silk Cover. Silk provides an elegant, smooth finish with minimal glare under harsh convention hall lighting, ensuring your colors pop without looking like cheap, glossy flyers.
Do you offer specialty finishes like foil or holographic?
Yes! Because our entire production pipeline is in-house, we excel at producing specialty Artist Alley variants including foiling, laminations, and different kinds of finishes. We recommend starting a project to see everything we offer.
How do I submit files for edge-to-edge (full bleed) printing?
Simply extend your artwork 0.125 inches past the final trim size on all four sides. For example, if you are ordering an 11" x 17" print, your file canvas should be exactly 11.25" x 17.25". We strongly recommend keeping important text and logos at least 0.25 inches safely inside the trim line.
What are the best print sizes to sell at Artist Alley?
The most successful booths offer a tiered mix: 4"x6" or 5"x7" mini prints for quick impulse sales, 8.5"x11" or 11"x17" for your standard fan-favorite inventory, and large 12"x18" posters as eye-catching anchor pieces to draw attendees to your table from across the hall.
How many art prints should I order for a convention?
For a standard 3-day anime convention table, a safe baseline is 100-250 total prints spread across different designs and sizes. You may want to order higher quantities (e.g., 50-100 each) of your best-selling designs, and lower quantities (15-25 each) for untested or niche artwork. Our low minimums allow you to test new designs without holding dead inventory.
