Will you print NSFW or mature doujins?
Yes. Because we print everything domestically here in America, there is no need for any censorship. Furthermore, our entire production process is 100% in-house. This means that your files are completely secure and private, and only our internal print team, who are fans of the medium themselves, will ever handle your project. Nothing is outsourced.
What specialty finishes do you offer?
Like large commercial printers, we offer highly specialized finishes perfect for the Artist Alley, dealers dens, exhibition hall, or entertainment halls, except we do it all in-house! This includes custom foiling, soft touch lamination, and custom bundling or pouching.
What is the difference between Perfect Bound and Saddle Stitch?
Perfect Bound books are glued at the spine to create a squared-off, flat edge, ideal for thicker manga and graphic novels. Saddle Stitch books are folded and stapled on the fold, which is perfect for thinner doujins or zines.
How do I calculate my spine width for my cover file?
You simply need to start a project on our website! Should I choose Perfect Binding or Saddle Stitch for my manga?
For short-run comic printing under 40 pages, saddle stitch (stapled) is the industry standard for zines and floppies. For anything over 40 pages, or if you want a professional, squared spine to display on a shelf at an Artist Alley table, perfect binding is the superior choice for graphic novels and manga.
What is the difference between a doujinshi and a western fan zine?
Both are self-published creator works, but doujinshi (同人誌) specifically refers to self-published Japanese-style manga, artbooks, and fan-novels typically debuted at conventions like Comiket or Anime Expo. Unlike casual zines, high-end doujinshi often use premium perfect bindings with specialty finishes like custom foiling to stand out in Artist Alley.
Can I print doujinshi with a custom paper size?

Do you work with international doujin circles or localization groups?
Yes! If your doujinshi circle or translation group is localizing original Japanese doujinshi for Western audiences, our facility serves as your domestic commercial printer. We work with licensing companies to completely eliminate costly international shipping fees and ensure your localized editions match authentic Japanese print specifications. We only print officially translated or original doujins, and manga.
