How to Get an Accurate Quote
1. Product Selection:
Start by choosing your product from our Products page. If you don't know what category your book falls under, you can just select "Perfect Bound Books" or "Saddle Stitch Books".
2. Size and Quantity:
You are not limited to standard sizes. Use the "Custom Size" button to enter specific dimensions (e.g., 6.93" x 9.84" for B5). Note that non-standard sizes may be slightly more expensive per unit as they may not fit as efficiently on our parent sheets.
3. Paper & Finishes:
This is where you can get creative. The estimator lets you mix and match:
- Interior: Choose from budget-friendly 60lb Uncoated to premium 100lb Silk or Gloss.
- Cover: Add lamination. Rose-Touch Lamination adds a velvety, "rose petal" soft-touch matte feel that screams luxury. Gloss Lamination makes colors pop and is durable against scratches. Matte is perfect for making your project professional, luxurious, and purposeful.
Understanding Volume Discounts
Printing has high "setup costs". It takes time and waste paper to calibrate the press for your specific job. If you print 1 copy, that setup cost is borne by that single book ($30+). If you print 500 copies, that cost is spread out ($4/book).
The estimator displays dynamic pricing, which also shows how additional volumes could have an impact on your project. You will often find that ordering 100 books costs just a few dollars more than 200. These volume discount are even more impactful when it comes to art prints and flyers.
